Corporate Finance offers advisory services for mergers and acquisitions and primary equity market transactions. The M&A teams advise both buyers and targets and also offer advice on other strategic financial issues, such as privatisations. Primary market services include flotations, equity issues, secondary issue placements, and convertible/exchangeable bond issues.

Corporate Finance has adopted a matrix organisation designed to give clients access to the best combination of specialists in each product, industry and geographical area, while optimising resource management.

Corporate Finance employs some 400 professionals located throughout its worldwide network. Focused first and foremost on Europe, it is also present in North and South America and enjoys strong visibility in Asia and the emerging countries.

Aircraft financing
BNP PARIBAS has arranged a vast number of aircraft financing transactions for flag carriers, regional airlines as well as operating lessors (United Airlines, Continental Airlines, ILFC, Jet Blue, Finnair, Sabena, British Midland, Air France, Regional Airlines, Brit Air, Air Europa, Egypt Air, Royal Air Maroc, Kendell Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Sale, TACA, Mexicana,....).
BNP Paribas is one of the leading aircraft financing banks with an aircraft financing portfolio of BNP Paribas of over USD 3.5 billion arranging or agenting thirty plus transactions per year on the five continents. BNP Paribas Aircraft Financing is an 18-people team, including 14 commercial officers.

Export Financing
BNP Paribas ranks among the top international leading banks in terms of Export Financing and relies on dedicated teams based in Paris and in 11 export finance desks located in the main exporting countries (Amsterdam/Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan, New York, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, Zurich and Emerging ECAs in Paris). These locally based teams have legitimacy to structure and manage global financial export credits with the support of 28 Export Credit Agencies, among which some are exotic ones located in emerging countries.

  • BNP Paribas Egypt has successfully originated and negotiated on behalf of BNP Paribas's Corporate finance and Investment Banking, the advisory service mandate for selecting airport operators for Cairo Airport Terminal 2&3, Cairo cargo village, Sharm El Sheikh Airport, Hurghada Airport, Abu Simbel Airport, Luxor Airport and Aswan Airport.
  • BNP Paribas has recently arranged aircraft financing for EgyptAir, financing 5 A320 Airbus Aircraft.
  • BNP Paribas acted as Co-Mandated Lead Arranger and Agent in a US$ 100 million syndicated pre-export finance facility for the Egyptian oil & gas state-owned company, Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
